This last weekend, we took a trip to Vladimir and Suzdal. These are a couple of the oldest cities in Russia and they have been preserved so that they stay authentically old school :) There were so many cathedrals that I can't remember all of their names, but it was so beautiful! It was also the end of a week-long celebration...PANCAKE WEEK!! This week symbolizes the end of winter (I hope so!). They make an ugly looking old woman out of hay and straw and she symbolizes winter. They light it on fire and it so legit!! It was way fun to go to a huge Russian celebration and participate! I took about 400 pictures in 2 days so here is a just a couple!!
